Texas Auto Writers Association Announces Award-Winning Vehicles from 2025 Texas Auto Roundup

Conroe, Texas (April 30, 2025) — The Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) proudly announces the winning vehicles from their annual Texas Auto Roundup, where members evaluated and honored the best vehicles across multiple categories. First held in 2003, this year's Auto Roundup was held at the Margaritaville Resort on Lake Conroe on April 6, 2025.

After a day of rigorous testing, standout models were awarded top honors, showcasing excellence in performance, luxury, family-friendliness, and innovation.

  • Third Place: Nissan Murano Platinum AWD

Family Vehicle of Texas

  • Winner: Toyota Sienna Platinum Hybrid AWD

Minivan of Texas

  • Winner: Toyota Sienna Platinum Hybrid AWD
“It’s like a Gulfstream with wheels—super comfortable and impressive cabin, mileage, and drivability.”

Performance Vehicle of Texas

“A pure driver's car. Even with the hybrid system, power hard top, and glass roof adding weight, it still came in at only 3200 lbs. Unreal! The only car I would ever own in orange. I've been dreaming of it since I got out of it.”
  • Second Place: Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack
  • Third Place: Toyota GR Corolla
