Texas Truck Rodeo
TAWA is pleased to host our members at the 2024 Texas Truck Rodeo at Eagles Canyon Raceway! We are excited to see you again, and we know the content generation potential and photo opportunities will be spectacular.
This year, we are adding a new welcome event dubbed The Great Texas Tailgate which will be held Thursday night at the Decatur Conference Center. This new kickoff event will welcome automotive journalists, manufacturer representatives from the nation’s top truck and SUV brands, and social media influencers to Texas. The Tailgate, including everything from the live entertainment to the brand activations, will be powered by electric trucks! This unique event will showcase the best trucks and SUVs on the market in an exciting setting created to show off the features that make them one-of-a-kind and will allow for unique content capture not available any other time.
Every year, we ask our membership what we can improve upon and we do our best to address all suggestions. Per member suggestions, the entire ballot will be available for voting and input until end of day on the first Friday after the event. This should provide ample time for some thoughtful notes, as well as improved input on the voting process.
Schedule:

- 6 PM: The Great Texas Tailgate Dinner& EICC Award Presentation
- 7:30 Band
- 9:00 Bar Closes
*Requires a separate, free registration for a proper head count with limited space.
FRIDAY, September 27 - DAY 1
- 8:00 AM: Breakfast & Mandatory Drivers Meeting
- 9:00 AM: Morning drive session
- Noon: Lunch, no driving.
- 1 PM: Afternoon drive session
- 5 PM: Driving ends
