The Texas Auto Writers signature spring driving event, the Auto Roundup, is a great opportunity for both TAWA members and automakers. It provides members an opportunity to drive automakers’ latest vehicles that they may not otherwise get a chance to drive; and in return, the automakers will get journalists’ thoughts, impressions, and evaluations about their drives which journalists also share through social media posts or articles. Manufacturers are evaluated thoroughly for coveted TAWA awards as voted on by the TAWA journalist members that participate in the Auto Roundup. Awards are often used for advertising and marketing to showcase manufacturer achievements in Texas and beyond. For 2025, the Auto Roundup will be hosted at Margaritaville Resort over two days with a group dinner Monday evening. Breakfast and lunch will be provided on drive day for all attendees.
