2017 EICC INFORMATION

COMING SOON

2016 ENTRIES DUE AUGUST 31st

entry rules

It is the intent of the 2016 Excellence in Craft Competition of the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) to recognize excellence in automotive journalism.  The competition is open to all TAWA Active Members in good standing.

Material eligible for entry have been published, broadcast or disseminated online between Sept. 1, 2015, and August 31, 2016.

It is important that all entries be accompanied by a completed official entry form.  Up to three individuals may be listed on the entry form, but only one prize for each place and category will be awarded. A letter, not to exceed one page, may be included with each entry.

FOR EASE OF PROCESSING

The completed entry form must be attached to outside of the entry envelope, and the actual entry, as well as entry payment (proof of paypal payment or check) should be on the inside of that entry envelope.  It is helpful if stories are pasted or taped to standard paper so that judges can read the material sequentially.

Print and photo entries should be placed in a standard 6x9 manila or #10 envelope for mailing to the event address.

The separate envelop for each entry may be combined in a larger envelope for mailing.

All entries must be postmarked between June 1, 2016 and no later than 5 p.m. on August, 31, 2016.

Entries must be mailed to:
